St Mary Star of the Sea College, a Catholic school for girls, Years 7-12, was established by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan in 1873.

Situated in the Diocese of Wollongong, the College currently caters for over 1,000 students and is a nurturing, Catholic educational community where students and staff continually strive for excellence and act for social justice, aspiring to the motto, “I am born for higher things”.
